For various reasons the Natural Products Trade Show, Olympia has become the preeminent show for health food stores in the UK to find out about new products and breaking research – and this show stood up to and exceeded its potential! In the final edition of Scottish Health News (before it re-launches as Healthy You!), it explores the relationship between probiotics and eczema. In an article entitled “10 of the Best Eczema Relievers”, the Daily Mail highlighted how recent research is showing the benefits that probiotics can have on eczema. What perfect timing to raise the awareness of this probiotic that can be taken by pregnant women, nursing mothers, infants & children to benefit the child’s normal digestion, maintain strong immunity and balanced energy levels! Under the headline ‘Traveller’s Tummy Hits Closer to Home’, Travel & Leisure magazine highlighted how frequent upset tummies can occur even on relatively short-distance trips, even those within the UK. As we have become used to high hygiene standards, it is suggested we are more susceptible to moderate challenges e.g. changes in water or the environment of a closed cabin aircraft.
